Aiming alidade with carrying case and operating instructions / range chart, for firing rifle grenades.
The Alidade engages on a round plate screwed onto the barrel on the left, at the level of the breech box.
This accessory can be mounted on the rifle as well as on the rifle.

BAZOOKA ROCKET LAUNCHER M1A1

The M1A1 59 mm anti-tank rocket launcher was adopted in August 1943, it is an improved version of the M1 standardized in June 1942. It consists of a steel tube fitted with a butt and a wooden handle, a sighting system and a firing mechanism. The strap of the bazooka is the M1 model in spun cotton used with the Garand M1 rifle.
The electrical circuit is established on one side by the latch which immobilizes the rocket at the entry of the launcher, and by a wire coming out of the rocket nozzle, connected to a spring contact at the rear of the tube. The current is supplied by 2 BA-30 batteries housed in the stock, the contact is activated by the trigger.
